Stories From The Backroads

This will become the heart and soul of my website, which is the real purpose in having this website. Here you will find the postings of the people and their stories I gather as I travel this great country.

I am convinced that good, fair and decent people are still among us. As a matter of fact I believe that the majority of us regardless of our color, race, religious persuasion, or ethnic heritage, are at our core basically good.

I believe that we have lowered the bar when it comes to the standard we set as a society for our children, and further more we have become either to ridged in our stance of zero tolerance on the one hand, (this is a direct result of trying to avoid litigation) to a much to laze-a-fare attitude to what we allow in public display of dress and common courtesy.

When you find yourself holding your pants up with one hand when you run to keep them from falling off, I don’t care how much of a bad assed gangster you think you are, you look to us like a damn clown in the circus. Not that anything is wrong with clowns; just know what you look like.

I feel the press as a whole is merely phoning in the job, how much real work does it takes to review the police blotter everyday and call that investigative reporting. Is that the only thing worth investigating, or is that the only thing that sells soap!

So I’m off across America on my own dime to find what I can find and report back. My goal is to update every day or two as time and circumstance allows. If you see me out there I’ll drink a cup of coffee or eat a meal with you, never turn down free food my Granddaddy always said!

See y’all on the backroads,

The Demonmaster
