Well I guess you can see it has been a couple of days since I posted! The reas
on is that I stopped at my Mom’s in Ohio for a couple of days and visited with all my family. My cousin David is in the hospital and I visited him while at Mom’s. He was sleeping but I did get to visit with his brother Danny and a couple of his children. My hopes and prayers are with them all. It was a little hard going into a hospital again, after all I have just been through, but it is just one more thing I must face and get over. I think things are getting easier.
On to Milford, Michigan and the house of Pat, one of my frien
ds from Eons.com, I had a wonderful time. We visited the new and improved downtown and I took some pictures this time. We talked and talked. She just lost the love of her life 4 short years ago to cancer as well. These are the friends that know what I mean when I say something, they have “been there; done that” and most importantly are more than willing to share their wisdom and support. Thanks so much Pat for all you’ve done for me. I hope someday we can visit again.
I am running on empty today, don’t know why I sleep well and I eat just fine. My next stop will be halfway to Steve’s house in Minnesota so I’ll post more after I get there. In the mean time check out the car pics below, Pat and I ran into a car show while cruzin the town!

PS. The Hudson Hornet is a very special car, have some fun and google it!!

Hey Rick,
Glad to hear your trip is going well. I’m glad you got to visit with Auntie and the rest of the family. I hadn’t heard about David being in the hospital. I hope he will be ok! Well, take care and know we are keeping you in our prayers.
Love,
Dee
Hi Rick,
It sounds like your having a great time. I think there is nothing more refreshing than visiting with family you haven’t seen in years and friends you’ve never met. That’s a beautiful house in the pictures you sent.
Keep on truckin,
Nancy Doerrig
