Once again out across the plains toward Falcon, Colorado and the home of Lyn. I just can’t believe there are no gas stations around here. I traveled only 100 or so miles today and with the extra gas I carry I was just fine! My visit was really great but I think I talked her leg off. She just lost her husband not too long ago and she was able to relate to the hills and valleys of the emotions you go through; as Steve says,” finding your new normal”. As you see in the pictures she has dogs and a couple donkeys, and I got to sleep in a
race car bed! I have always wanted to have one of those beds since I was a little boy, and I finally got to sleep in one. You can see I am writing shorter posts lately. Well I’m just tired and worn out and I am posting 3 posts today and then I stop at Dolores, Colorado tomorrow, after which I will turn and start my way home. After I get a week of rest I’ll start filling in the blanks in these stories for you. Trust me it will be
interesting.

LMAO at the race car bed!!
I love that phrase– “finding your new normal”. What a perfect way of describing it.
