Over the mountains we go!! Man what a great ride it was! That is until I got to Wolf Creek Pass, going up the pass it started raining and hailed marble sized hail. May I just point out that marble sized hail hurts like hell!!! So after about six miles I reached the summit and started down the other side. The weather changed it just rained at first and then when the twisty’s started to get tight and steep it started to sleet, that’s right four inches of slick slush and nowhere to pull over. I just slowed down and held on for dear life, and for the next 11 miles I slipped and slid my way down the mountain. And since you are reading this

you can see everything turned out all right! I think I will turn in now, my neck and arms are just a little sore from all the clenching! I stopped in Durango, Colorado so that means I have one more pass to go in the morning. I just couldn’t face another one today!
From somewhere on the backroads,
The Demonmaster
brother we have passed each other a couple of times on our bikes today. i understand what you are doing but you need a bigger bike or a smaller trailer. good luck and god bless
You are in Durango, oh my gosh you missed Ophir!!
I hope you call me in the AM. The pass you are going to do in the AM is nothing. A little winding. But beautiful. I don’t think you found the Dolotes RIver. You have to let me share my Dolores river with you.
I am covered at work after 4 pm.
Best call me.
Cheers.
Donna
